Buckling of Laminated Elliptical and Super-Elliptical Thin Plates

چکیده

In this computational study the buckling analysis of symmetrically laminated elliptical and super-elliptical thin plates was carried out. The were considered as clamped or simply supported at boundary. minimum load determined using Rayleigh-Ritz method Galerkin Method based on Classical Laminated Plate Theory (CLPT). influence solution methods, shape functions, boundary conditions, power, lamination type, aspect ratio, thickness critical investigated a parametric study. verification isotropic case performed comparing some results in open literature, reliable agreement obtained. Convergence studies composite with increasing terms (up to 10 terms) achieved sufficient accuracy provided. During preliminary design stage structures, many parameters such panel sizes, thickness, stacking sequences, conditions loading are taken into consideration. It is possible evaluate these quickly by appropriate function method.
